What is onedollarbid?

onedollarbid is a public leaderboard of websites and social accounts where the last person to pay $1 sits on top. Knock the current holder off for a dollar, and hold the spot until somebody else does the same. There are six separate boards: websites, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.

How much does it cost to be number one?

One dollar. Always one dollar — on every board, at every moment, for everyone. There is no bigger payment and no auction.

Can I pay more to hold the top for longer?

No. There is no larger payment anywhere on the site. The only way to stay on top is for nobody else to spend a dollar.

Why can I not bump while I am number one?

Because otherwise one wallet could hold the top forever and nobody else would have a reason to pay. You may only pay to reclaim the top spot, never to reinforce it.

What happens when someone knocks me off?

Your listing moves down one place. It keeps its link, its description and every bump it has ever been paid, and one dollar puts it back on top.
